Email Setup with one of our Web-P## Servers in Outlook
Setting up an email account with Outlook
- Step 1
- Select "File"
- Step 2
- Click the "Add Account" button
- Step 3
- Select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next"
- Step 4
- Select "POP or IMAP" and click "Next"
- Step 5
- Enter the following information:
- Your Name: The name you want people to see when receiving an email from you.
- Email Address: Your email address
- Account Type: Ensure POP3 is selected here
- Incoming mail server: mail.boltonsmith.com
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.boltonsmith.com
- User Name: Your email address
- Password: Your email password
- Enter the following information:

- Click "More Settings ..."
- Step 7
- Click on the "Outgoing Server" tab
- Check the "My Outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" box and ensure "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" is selected
- Step 8
- Click on the "Advanced" tab
- Change the following settings:
- Outgoing server (SMTP): 465
- Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL
- Click the "OK" button
- Step 9
- Click the "Next" button
- Step 10
- Outlook will now check to ensure the proper settings were entered. *This can take a few minutes*
- When you see the 2 check marks select the "Close" button
- Step 11
- You are now done!
- Click the "Finish" button to start using your email
