Phishing scams are dangerous, don’t take the bait! Remember the following tips and tricks:

DO NOT open something you weren’t expecting
DO NOT open .zip files
DO NOT email banking information
DO NOT use email as a method of authorizing payments to vendors
DO NOT approve payroll changes or updates by email
DO NOT purchase gift cards based off email instructions
